This is a novel that follows where my short story “The Angel Genome” has left of. Zeph’s ancestors may well be the angels of legend, but his DNA, rescued from a frozen mummy, has been mixed with that of a human. His white hair is the only visible difference from other humans, but inside a lot more goes on. On top of that, he has no human rights, being considered non human. His surrogate mother, Lucia, will do all she can to protect him – but her power can only reach that far and Zeph must find a way to defend himself on his own…
